Sharing your Cup #2

Hello for those of you who are new to this blog and welcome!  This blog was created for people to share their burdens and joys so that we can all pray for each other.  It is always easier when you know you are not walking alone...

Last month we had a number of friends leave comments and prayer requests.   You can take a look here Sharing Your Cup .  A caring community is forming and I am very excited.

This month I wanted to share my prayer request with you.  I have been looking for a full-time job where I can do God's work with young children.  I was employed in a very secure position last year but decided to leave it to search for God's will for my life.  I have grown much spiritually, but do find at this point that I am very anxious and nervous about employment for September.  I feel I have waited long enough on the Lord and NEED an answer.

Of course, of course, I understand that when God answers is not my call. So if I can ask for some prayers for patience, perseverance and wisdom to know what God wants for my life, that would be so wonderful :0)  Thank you!  Thank you!

Now it is your turn to share... if you leave a comment or share a prayer request, you will be entered to win a little prize!  It is my way of cheering someone up this month.

This month's prize is a magnetic post-it note:

I will pick the winner on June 25th, 2010.
Thank you for "sharing you cup" with all of us.

Hi there! I will be lifting you up in prayer for you to get a job that is the desire of your heart and to do God's will.

I have a special prayer request. My dad has been ill for about three months now. It's like he has taken one step forward and two steps back in regards to his health. Now the Dr. is suspecting lung cancer. I ask that you pray for my dad and mom in this difficult time. Right now the Dr. is trying steroids to see if the swelling in his lung will go down. If not, he will have to undergo an "open" biopsy to see if cancer is present. Right now the odds are stacked against him. But I know that God is in control and miracles do happen. I really appreciate it!

Thanks for your blog. It will fill a very real need. Even if our lives are "ok", there is so much more we could be learning and doing for the Lord.

I hearted your little deer card: http://www.etsy.com/listing/47474239/thinking-of-you-vintage-style-fold-out So Cute!!

My prayer request is also for employment. We are self-employed but also under-employed. I would LOVE to find a part-time office job to help out. Right now I just have Etsy sales. Thanks!

My request is for a new member of my church who is pregnant. She doesn't have an easy life, and I would like you to pray that her baby would be healthy and that her living situation would improve :-)

My request is for my daughter Rachel. She has bad pain in her neck & back. She's had cancer but it is in remission. She also has rods in her spine. The docs say the pain may be from rubbing at the top and bottom of the rods. She is 22. Thank you.
